The location was fantastic and the neighborhood felt very secure, making it perfect for our family getaway. The pool was enjoyable, though the heater wasn't functioning, so it was a bit chilly. Thankfully, we found the hot tub to be a great alternative! The guest studios by the pool offer a cozy space for those needing some privacy, but they are on the smaller side. Since the house is older, you might notice some signs of wear and tear. One downside was that the refrigerator and freezer weren’t operating properly; the freezer barely got cold enough for ice, and our ice bags ended up melted. Also, take care on the stairs, as they are somewhat tricky. There’s just one bedroom on the ground level, which might not be ideal for anyone with mobility challenges, and there isn’t a bath or shower available downstairs in the main living area. Overall, it was a reasonable price when shared among several families.

We arrived on a flight that landed around 1:00 pm, hoping to grab a quick lunch before the 4:00 pm check-in time. However, when we arrived at 4:00, we were informed that the cleaning staff were still working. After waiting until 5:49 pm without any updates, we reached out again. Unfortunately, we had to follow up multiple times, and it wasn't until 7:45 pm that we finally got inside. When we did, we discovered that there was an ongoing repair in the downstairs bathroom due to a leak, and workers were still tiling the floor, which continued until about 9:30 pm. To make matters worse, they left a used toilet and sink in the kitchen during our stay without any communication from the host about this inconvenience. I inquired about possibly receiving a partial refund due to the late check-in and the issues we faced, but I was told the owner would need to be consulted, and I never received a follow-up. This experience was quite disappointing overall, and I doubt I would choose to rent from them again.

We enjoyed a wonderful three-week stay at this lovely Airbnb. The location couldn't be better! As first-time visitors to West Palm, we were thrilled with our choice to stay here. It was only a short drive to all the attractions, and many spots were even within walking distance. The neighborhood is peaceful and felt very secure, which added to our comfort. This charming place is a century-old house, and we loved the inviting pool and cabana area in the backyard. The two extra 'casitas' made it ideal for our large group. The property manager was incredibly attentive and eager to ensure our experience was top-notch. While a new washer/dryer set and some upgraded pillows would enhance the experience, we thoroughly recommend this Airbnb for anyone traveling with a big group looking for a prime location in West Palm.
