The host came to our rescue around 10 pm when we found ourselves in a difficult situation with our previous Airbnb. The apartment we were assigned there wasn't prepared by the time we arrived. Thankfully, we were able to check in last minute at this place and everything turned out perfectly.

We arrived via flight at around 1:00 pm and assumed we could enjoy some lunch before checking in at 4:00 pm. However, when we returned at 4:00, we were informed that the cleaning crew was still working, and it would take longer. After waiting until 5:49 pm without any updates, we decided to inquire again but received no response. At 7:02 pm, we followed up once more, only to be told they would keep us posted. Unfortunately, we finally gained access around 7:45 pm, only to discover ongoing repairs due to a leak in the downstairs bathroom. The workers were still tiling the floor and were cutting tiles until approximately 9:30 pm. To make matters worse, they had left a used toilet, sink, and plunger in the kitchen throughout our stay. There was no apology or effort to rectify the situation. I requested a partial refund for the inconvenience caused by the late check-in and the ongoing issues, but the host mentioned needing to consult the owners and I never heard back. Overall, it was quite disappointing, and I wouldn't consider booking with them again.

This was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway with friends. Although there were a few minor concerns, like the hot tub being a bit unkempt and some flooring on the main level showing signs of wear, everything else was just as advertised. Overall, it met our needs well, and I'd definitely consider booking it again.
