Entire rental unit. Heart of Overtown Retreat

The owner was fantastic—really attentive and considerate. I really enjoyed my stay at the property. Would definitely recommend to others!

We arrived at the property after our flight landed around 1:00 pm, expecting to grab a quick lunch and check in at the scheduled time of 4:00 pm. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the cleaning team was still working and our check-in would be delayed. After several hours of waiting, we checked back in at 5:49 pm but received no updates. Finally, at 7:02 pm, we inquired again and were told they would keep us posted. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enter the property until nearly 7:45 pm. When we got inside, we discovered that there had been a leak in the downstairs bathroom, and workers were still there laying tile, causing noise until around 9:30 pm. To add to the inconvenience, they had left a used toilet and sink in the kitchen for the entirety of our stay. We felt there was a lack of communication and no efforts were made to rectify the situation. I requested a partial refund due to the late check-in and ongoing issues, but the response was vague, and I never heard back after that. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't consider booking this property again.

This Airbnb was simply fantastic! We spent a month here, and every moment was enjoyable. The location is unbeatable—just a short 10-minute drive to the airport without any of the noise, only a quick 2-minute stroll to a variety of shops and dining options, and a 10-minute ride to the beach. Plus, it's only a 15-minute walk to Clemantis, which boasts amazing restaurants and a wonderful farmers market every Saturday. You really don't need a car to explore the area. The host was incredibly accommodating and made our stay seamless. Whenever we had a minor issue, it was addressed promptly, and everything was resolved swiftly. The Airbnb itself was comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped with all we could ask for. The other residents in the building were friendly, and the pool area was a delightful spot to relax. When we mistakenly mixed up our checkout date, the host went above and beyond to assist us and make the process stress-free. With several listings available, he has earned our trust completely. We would highly recommend this place, as well as the host's other properties, to anyone looking for a great stay.
