House sits on a quiet street off two main roads, West Dixie & U.S. 1 (Biscayne Boulevard). It is a peaceful spot for relaxing mornings and evenings indoors or outdoors. It is situated in Biscayne Gardens/North Miami Beach near diverse eateries and pubs. In addition to being easily accessible to/from all major routes, the neighboring Intracoastal Causeway (FL State Road 826) leads directly to Oleta River State Park & Haulover Beach! (6-7 minutes) Haulover Beach (Miami-Dade County operated) offers an internationally renown clothing-optional section, several family sections, BBQ grills, boat slip and charter fishing marina. Oleta River State Park (Floriday State operated) offers kayaking, canoes, bicycle paths (dirt bikes and beach bikes), mangrove forrest, tranquil bathing beach. Biking over the causeway is feasible and recommended for Sat, Sun, Holidays in cooler months. Affordable public parking available at both Oleta and Haulover. Food-truck rallies (Tuesday evenings) and family events are common at Haulover on the marina side. Trendy Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road or Bal Harbour offer covered parking lots and are just 10-15 minutes drive. Nearby neighborhoods include: Aventura, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, Normandy Isles, MiMo (mid-century MiamiModern), Miami's Design District, Wynwood, Midtown, South Beach, Little Haiti, Little Havana. In 20 minutes, you can easily reach Hollywood Beach, Dania Beach Pier and Fort Lauderdale! 20-25 minutes to/from MIA or FLL airports. Tropical Mango House is an ideal location for taking day-trips to nearby destinations including Hollywood Beach (18 min), Fort Lauderdale/Ft. Laud Beach (22min), Delray Beach (45min), Palm Beach (75-90min). Everglades National Park and Biscayne Bay National Park are GREAT day-trips and only 50-60 minutes away. Access to the Florida Keys also only 50-60 minutes away. A drive to the end of the "Overseas Highway" down to Key West is approx. 3.25 hours, very doable. Orlando is 3.5 hours to the north.
