Our comfortable 3 bedroom home is a tropical oasis from the bustling city. Central location and close proximity to I-95 provides easy access to all South Florida attractions! Enjoy a coastal feel, lots of in/outdoor lounge space, privacy and quiet. While the home is medium-sized, it has many zones for privacy and comfort. For example, there is a separate living room, dining area and media room, split floor plan. The back yard is on Miami's "Little River" and there is a separate outdoor dockside lounge, an extra-large sun-deck with spa, recliners, outdoor shower, outdoor dining and sitting areas. Guests can access the entire home with the exception of a small storage locker for the owner's personal belongings. Guests have full Laundry and Parking facilities at NO CHARGE with full access to a fully stocked foodie kitchen, all outdoor amenities including a gas BBQ, hot tub and outdoor shower. You will have the place all to yourself! We love meeting new people, though we respect your time, space and privacy. We'll provide a local contact number...just in case. Co-host, Jose Orlando is a licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Florida. He specializes in deep tissue, reflexology, pre-natal, geriatric and traditional restoration. House sits on a quiet street off the main road, N. Miami Ave. It is a peaceful spot for relaxing mornings and evenings indoors or outdoors. It is situated in the Upper East Side near good eateries and pubs. In addition to being easily accessible to/from all major routes, the neighboring John F. Kennedy Causeway (79th Street) leads directly to a family friendly beach community! Biking over the causway is feasible and recommended for Sat, Sun, Holidays in cooler months. Affordable parking and eateries are also available at the beach, there is a band-shell which features live music, food-truck rallies and events! Trendy Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road or Bal Harbour offer covered parking lots and are just 10 minutes drive. Nearby neighborhoods include: Miami Beach, Normandy Isles, MiMo (mid-century MiamiModern), Miami's Design District, Wynwood, Midtown, South Beach, Little Haiti, Little Havana. While a car is the most convenient and parking is free, the following bus lines stop within close walking distance of two blocks: #2, #9, #10. Tropical RiverHouse is an ideal location for taking day-trips to nearby areas including Hollywood Beach (18 min), Fort Lauderdale (26min), Delray Beach (45min), Palm Beach (75-90min). Everglades National Park and Biscayne Bay National Park are a day-trip and only 45 minutes away. Access to the Florida Keys is only 50 minutes away. A drive to the end of the overseas highway down to Key West is approx. 3.0 hours. Orlando is 3.5 hours to the north. The area along the river where the house is situated is a protected bird sanctuary, depending on the season many different species of birds and wildlife such as egrets, ibis, cranes and ducks can be observed along the river! You might even see a manatee swimming upstream!
