Private room in home. Twin bed, short term stay.

This rental is for a bedroom area, separated only by a curtain. There is a twin bed with TV and refrigerator. The area is set up as a guest room but serves as occasional short stay Airbnb room. This room is not shared with others but privacy is provided only by curtains, no door. I have pets but mostly keep them away from public areas. If you are allergic to cats or dogs, my house is not a good choice for you. Please contact me so I can arrange to get you the key. I'd like to greet you when you arrive, but that is not always possible. Enter the main front-door and your room is to your right behind the fireplace. Again, the room privacy is provided primarily by curtains. There are two walls and no door. In your room, there are towels, snacks and water, a small refrigerator and a television with some streaming services. The items in the kitchen, utensils, basics, coffee and tea are there for your use. You may use the kitchen, laundry room, bathroom etc. at any time. The bathroom is shared with other guests. Shampoo and soap etc are there for your use. The room has no sound privacy and you may hear others if they are in the living room or kitchen. I ask that everyone be respectful and courteous but this may be a consideration. This is a room in my house - I am friendly and easy going. You have access at any time to the kitchen and bathroom and laundry Please make yourself at home. Smoking is permitted outside only and please dispose of cigarette butts. I am usually available by text and if I am home, I am happy to socialize, but I let my guest determine how much and when they want to socialize. I work from home so am usually busy sitting at my desk, but I am ready to stop and answer any questions or help with any concerns. Because a lot of the house is shared areas I ask that everyone be respectful and courteous. Other Restaurants include Cuban, Japanese, Subway, Pizza, Chinese. My place is about 1 mile away from the Biltmore Hotel and golf course and the Venetian pool in Coral Gables. There is a bus stop 2 blocks away. Bus routes and maps are available on Miami's website. Search Miami Metrobus and Metrorail. It is a good idea to rent a car or have a car in Miami. I also recommend UBER or LYFT apps to get around. I have 2 bicycles you may use. You may park on driveway or on the grass, If you park on the grass - I ask that you do not leave engine running as it tends to burn the grass. Smoking is permitted outside only. Notice: I recently heard that hosts were requiring guests to do chores or pay unexpected fees. There is None of that at my place! You are a guest in my house and I just request courtesy. Come as you are, relax and be yourself . if you want to use the laundry and kitchen - there is no charge! You won’t be expected to clean the sheets or take out the garbage or water the plants! Be sure and leave the keys when you check out!
