Private room in treehouse. Roots of Treehouse on Lush Farm

Our "Roots" room is located on the ground floor of our celebrated 3 story Treehouse! With a queen bed, in a cabin-like atmosphere, it's a comfortable room nestled under the trees. Front porch has direct view of chickens, pigs, goats, turkeys. Relax in a hammock too! Please check in by 7 pm on arrival day! Do note that our farm is in the tropics. You may see harmless insects including ants, spiders, beetles and palmetto bugs that could come inside. We try our best to provide a clean space. Stay in the ground floor ("Roots") of the Treehouse on our urban permaculture farm where you will encounter animals (cockatoos, goats, pigs, cats, chickens, insects), beehives, organic gardens, and a colorful community of people. The room has a private entrance and porch near the chicken yard. Please note that roosters crow very early in the morning! One queen size bed. There is air conditioning and a fan. Bathroom is a short walk from the room; outdoor shower under the bamboo trees is lovely and private while you are in it, but shared by other guests. Bugs are normal in our south Florida tropical farm. We try to keep bugs out of rooms, but it's possible you'll see some. Cook in our well-equipped, outdoor Treehouse kitchen. Coffee and tea are provided. Please arrange your arrival by 7:00 p.m. on check- in day, as we farmers rise early in the morning! You can take part in our Sunday volleyball games, monthly vegan potluck dinners and relax in the hammocks around the farm. We sell chicken eggs, organic veggies (in season), and honey when available. Ray and I are around the farm much of the time . There is a friendly community of guests and full time residents here. You can be as engaged as you wish or find a quiet spot for a nap in a hammock. Our farm is located on a residential street in Little Haiti. It is a low-income area, close to supermarkets and restaurants, 5 miles to the beach, 15 minutes to Miami airport and to South Beach. We have free parking in front of the farm if you have a car. There are buses to South Beach, downtown and other points of interest near the farm. Buses do not run late into the night. Better to take a taxi/uber when returning to the farm late. Please arrive at the farm no later than 7:00 p.m. on arrival day. Remember you'll be on a farm. Bugs live here too
