Guests will also meet Magic the Peacock (@MagicThePeacock), who was brought in as an orphan at one week old and is now raised and recovering onsite. He is relearning the neighborhood and preparing to return to his free-roaming peacock family. Guests are welcome to help walk him as part of his rehabilitation, becoming part of his story as he reconnects with the community and builds confidence to be fully free again.
Guests may interact as much or as little as they prefer. The host is available by text, call or a gentle knock, always respecting privacy and personal space. While guests once saw her tending to the garden, creating art and caring for Magic the Peacock—who arrived as an orphan at one week old and has been raised and recovering onsite—her focus is now devoted to her baby twins, a boy and a girl, whom she nurses and co-sleeps with.
This property is her personal sanctuary, shaped over years and rooted in memories from her Costa Rican childhood. She has built everything herself except for the cement walls and floors of the duplex; every coconut palm, bamboo cluster and garden path has been planted and nurtured by her hands. She resides in the larger side of the duplex with her twins, while continuing to care for Magic as he prepares to rejoin the neighborhood peacocks.
Her intention is to offer a magical, restorative escape—one that brings guests peace, warmth and inspiration. She hopes each visitor leaves feeling rested, connected and renewed, and loves when guests arrive as strangers and depart as friends.

The grounds are shared with Airbnb Studio guests and the onsite host/owner. The Tiny House is extremely small (10×10 ft) and includes an outdoor shower and a fully private external bathroom. The Murphy bed must be folded to create space for the desk and chair. This stay is best suited for guests with carry-ons or backpacks, as standard suitcases will not fit inside or through the narrow passageway leading to the Tiny House.
No outside guests are allowed on the property at any time. Wild peacocks roam the neighborhood and visit the property daily for afternoon feeding. You will also see @MagicThePeacock onsite—currently caged while being raised and recovering, preparing to be safely released back into the neighborhood he grew up in.
As in many tropical, nature-dense areas of Miami, mosquitos, geckos, iguanas, raccoons, squirrels, peacocks, foxes and other wildlife may be present. Book accordingly if you are not comfortable in outdoor environments with natural wildlife activity.
Cameras are positioned throughout the exterior grounds for safety and monitoring; they do not interfere with the privacy of the outdoor shower.
