Our listing is for a clean, spacious bedroom with a bathroom en suite. The room is located at the far end of the house; offering a bit more privacy. Sheets, all towels and sanitary items will be made available along with a key for secure entry and exit. Easy access to the outdoor patio, pool and lounge chairs make it one of the best rooms in the house. A built in skylight allows plenty of sunshine in to brighten up the space. The room also comes equipped with basic satellite TV, Wi-Fi connection, A/C wall unit, plenty of dresser space, a closet and a small vanity desk. If needed, the twin beds can be united to make one larger bed. Guests are welcome to use the backyard area including pool, hammock, bar and gazebo. There is a refrigerator and pantry in the main kitchen that can be used to store food items. Washer and dryer available. As a semi-retired couple, we run a home based business out of one of the bedrooms at other end of the house, so it would be common for someone to be home during the day. However, we also have busy personal lives making it equally normal to not see us at all. The neighborhood is a quiet suburb with the local public elementary school down the block. Almost everything you need is within a 5 mile radius including banks, supermarkets, coffee shops, fast food locations, casual dining, gyms, convenience stores, gas stations, pharmacies, shopping centers/malls etc. But when you want to see more of Miami (or the beaches), both the FL Turnpike and I-95 highway entrances are about 1 mile away. A car will be the best way to get around (rental/Uber/Lyft) but public transportation starts with a 7 minute walk to the closest bus stop. It should take about 1 hour to get to Miami Beach via bus. Your best bet is to use online tools for bus schedules. By car: South Miami-Coral Gables (10-15 miles), Wynwood (20 miles), Miami Beach (26 miles). Be warned that Miami traffic is notoriously bad. We have a well trained dog that loves people and attention from those who would like to give it. Other than that, she just let's us know when someone is at the door.
