No hotel room can offer this. At the same time it has it limitations since it's anchored we harvest the electricity throu solar panels the water and electricity is enough for basic needs, like lights, radio, and phone charging but not unlimited. There is a fresh water cold shower and a solar camp shower with water heated by the sun. I understand that is a trade off. So, if you expect a hotel room, this may not be a good deal for you . If you are alergic may be also inconvenient willing to enjoy the beauty of the ocean and scenery for a little comfort you are in the right place. Check in is anytime between 3pm and 11pm. There is a bus stop to downtown miami a 5 minute walk on Macarthur causeway in front of Jungle Island and a bus stop to Miami Beach a 15 minute walk on the opposite side of the causeway in front of the children's museum. Just over the bridge to downtown there is the Perez Art museum, Frost Science museum, and Bayside marketplace. Also there is a free trolley near the Omni (Adrienne Arscht Center) bus station to take you to Wynwood and Midtown market. Also a free metro mover to take you to the metrorail where you can buy a ticket for the Miami airport and other connections kayaks available for rent. Parking:. there are 2 pay public parking lots ,one open just Infront (lot 70) pay by phone. We harvest the electricity through solar panels ,so it keeps clean the environment, it's enough for basic needs ,like lights, radio ,and phone charging. Please come ready to jump in a boat , high heels won’t work ,sandals are more practical . The pressure water pump should be turn off position when you finish using ,if you hear a pumping sound is because it's still on. Plan your trip ,and your day ,bring what you are going to need for the time you come aboard , like food, drinks, and ice for the igloo cooler. There is a public parking garage at Jungle Island, It's located next to the pick up area for the ride to the boat
