The bedroom features a work nook with a desk and chair and a closet. BATHROOM: The bathroom is stocked with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotion), plush towels, washcloths, and a hairdryer. The bathroom features an oversized luxurious rainfall shower. KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully stocked with all your essentials such as pots, pans, dishware, glassware, tupperware, silverware, dish towels, teapot, strainer, measuring cups/spoons, grater, cooking utensils, coffee/tea capsules for the Keurig machine, olive oil, salt, pepper, plastic wrap, tin foil. The kitchen has a full stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer/ice maker, and dishwasher. POOL: The building has a tropical, lush pool and jacuzzi located on the 1st floor amenities area. The pool is open from 8am to 10pm. Pool towels are provided by the pool. GYM: The building has a small gym with a Peloton, cardio machines, weight equipment, and sauna and steam room located on the 1st floor. The gym is open from 8am to 10pm. BALCONY: Your airbnb features a private balcony overlooking the bay with two chairs to kick back and relax. PARKING: The unit comes with 1 parking spot (valet or self-park) for your first vehicle. For additional cars, valet is available for an additional cost or there is a nearby parking garage on the same block. Metered street parking is also available first come, first served. SAFETY: Your unit is equipped with a smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarm. Your unit also contains a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit under the kitchen sink. Security cameras are present around the building common areas and exterior. Cameras are never located inside ShoreHouse units. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Iron and ironing board, steamer, washer/dryer, beach/pool towels, Wi-Fi, smart TV with basic cable, bathroom toiletry items, bath towels, robes, full kitchen, basic cooking spices and oil, tin foil, laundry detergent, dish soap, dish detergent, basic cleaning supplies, board games, limited wellness supplies (such as yoga mat, foam roller, light weights), host available 24/7, front desk staff and security 24/7 in building. HISTORY OF THIS HOTEL: If you're a history buff, I have some great stories for you. This airbnb is located inside The Mutiny Hotel (previously known in the 70's and 80's as the famous Sailboat Bay Hotel and The Mutiny at Sailboat Bay - a famous nightclub). I won't spoil the drama, secrets and tales of the former hotel and club. If you'd like a good read prior to your arrival, Reach out to your host to request a loaner copy of the book "Hotel Scarface" to be sent to your home free of charge (we only ask that you leave it in your unit on your departure date so we can keep sharing it with other guests). If you want to keep it, we ask that you purchase it from us for $25. Hugging the shoreline of Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove is a relaxed, park-filled neighborhood with great sidewalk cafes and chic shops in and around the CocoWalk mall. The area's several green spaces include bay-front Barnacle Historic State Park, home to a mangrove forest, and the iconic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, centered on a lavish Italian-style villa. Sailing clubs and marinas line the waterfront along with multiple bay-front parks steps from this condo. You can inquire about sailing and boat charters, boat rentals, watersports rentals with your host (all within a 5 minute walk from the airbnb). We're very close to Coral Gables and the University of Miami. Some of my favorite spots in the neighborhood include: GreenStreet Cafe (bfast/brunch) Monty's (seafood) Jaguar (latin) Koko (mexican) Regatta Grove (bar) Panther Coffee Firemen Derek's (Pies and Cakes) We recommend using rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft around the city. For short distances you can rent a Citibike which are available nearby. The neighborhood is VERY walkable. The nearest Metrorail station is Coconut Grove Station. It is 6 minutes by rideshare or 10 minute by bike. We own and manage our own rentals and never hire third party management companies. Forget about average, you're staying with a boutique company that LOVES our guests and every aspect of the business we are in.
